We have always been a family run business, located in Ellesmere Port for over 60 years, 40 of which on our current site on Cedab Road. The owners and staff are local from Ellesmere Port and are proud to represent you and our town. We are happy to accept scrap from householders but we are well equipped to facilitate commercial, retail and industrial customers.

We are thrilled that over the past few years, residents and businesses in Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas have donated their unwanted scrap metal items into the K J Bell Scrap-Yard Charity Skip. In conjunction, we also offer free scrap metal skips to local businesses including Morrisons Supermarket, Ellesmere Port and The Coliseum Cheshire Oaks, the combined efforts of which have raised thousands of pounds for this local worthy cause.

A metal recycling plant contains many hazards and we take on site health and safety very seriously. It is our duty to protect the health and safety of staff and visitors alike and we do this by ahering to the latest procedures and legislations, putting into effect all appropriate measures to maintain a safe environment.

We have an onsite office block, tarmac entrance, concreted yard and two, fifty tonne weighbridges. You will always find our yard clean and tidy. You will have no problem parking, whether by car, van or HGV and our friendly staff are always able to greet you and assist upon arrival.

All our plant and machinery is of a high spec, our yard is kept clean and tidy and is regularly maintained. Staff are fully trained in First Aid (St John's Ambulance) and we even have an AED onsite which has already saved a life.
